Just when you thought traditional neighborhoods had disappeared, like hula hoops or the Welcome Wagon, along comes Jennie’s Meadow – a neighborhood that recaptures the joys of living in a small town. Jennie’s Meadow is located on Washington’ s Olympic Peninsula in the Sequim-Dungenesss River Valley. Close to the Railroad Bridge Park and the 34-mile Discovery Trail, with Olympic Mountain views, it’s a delightful neighborhood of new homes and townhomes nestled into the surrounding farmlands and meadows.
Jennie’s Meadow is in the new west end of Sequim, just off Priest Road, at Washington Street. There’s nearby retail shopping, bike trails, and convenient highway access. And there’s great recreation from mountain trails and fishing streams to beaches and boats on Puget Sound. It’s a neighborhood designed to reflect small town living at its best.

Value is the hallmark

The Story of Jennie
The new neighborhood is named after Jennie Priest, the matriarch of a pioneer Sequim family. It occupies part of the family’s original homestead where the 1870′s barn is still visible.
The George and Jennie Priest family moved to Sequim in 1890 from Ontario, Canada, and settled on a 160-acre homestead in the Happy Valley. Their fourteen children and many descendants helped shape the history of the Sequim Valley.
A small neighborhood feeling
If you grew up on a small block where kids all knew one another and played tag in the street, then you already know about Jennie’s Meadow. It’s really a community of small-scale, separate neighborhoods. Picket fences are buffered with green space and quiet cul-de-sacs are protected from through-traffic. There’s a feeling of safety, and the small scale means you can get to know the neighbors.
